Sometimes I am just in the mood for a good mild cigar. Today was one of those days. Rainy, overcast, and nice and cool, it was just a great day to relax at my local smoke shop and enjoy a great cigar. I had never tried a Romeo Y Julieta before and the wrapper of this stick caught my eye, so I snatched it up. The Reserva Real sports a very pale colored Connecticut Shade wrapper and it is just beautiful in construction. The foot had a pleasant hay and cedar smell. Upon torching the foot, I received a sweet aroma of hay and honey that lasted for the entire smoke. The draw was clean and smooth and produced plenty of creamy, white smoke. The flavors were sweet and rich with a very subtle spicy note. I experienced hints of hay and the spiciness of cedar, with a sweet honey taste that coated the palate. The retrohale enhanced the spiciness a bit, but not enough to take away from the mildness of the stick. This is a great smoke for beginner to experienced smokers alike and with the name of Romeo Y Julieta, with this price, you really can’t go wrong. Enjoy!

Robusto Review
If you ever need to unwind, and I mean really unwind, try the following recipe.
Cigar
Onyx Reserve or Romeo y Julieta Bully
Drink – Single malt
Oban Scotch 14 Yr.
And the rest is up to you. A good steak dinner, have some friends over to enjoy these with you, or sit home alone and ponder your thoughts.
I know the worries and troubles that can come down on someone and this is a recipe that always helps me relax.
I plan to write more of these throughout the years, so stay tuned and feel free to post your own relaxation methods.

As always Romeo y Julieta cigars are top shelf material. The Bully is one of my favorite stogies by this legendary company. They’re strong, they burn slow, and have a taste that did knock my socks off. Of course I was wearing house slippers at the time
All in all this cigar is NOT for beginners but it is a cigar I would recommend for someone to make the transistion from beginner to an intermediate smoker.
