As a tribute to Nick Perdomo Sr., his son, Nick Perdomo Jr. released the Perdomo Patriarch. A blend of Nick Senior’s favorite tobaccos with a maduro or natural wrapper, this cigar is talked about as being one of Perdomo’s masterpieces. Well, I picked up one of these sticks in the maduro wrapper a few weeks ago, and after smoking it, all I have to say is…….meh. This cigar was just not very impressive, with bland flavors, tight draw, and bad construction. The cigar felt way to firm, the wrapper very veiny and not attractive at all. I picked up flavors of coffee, chocolate, and toast. However, all these flavors were very faint and did not really compliment each other. I could see paying maybe around 2-3 dollars for this stick to absently puff on as a daily smoke, but at 8-9 dollars a stick, this just isn’t the best value. This is shocking even to me, seeing as how Perdomo is one of my favorite brands. Give it a try and make your own decision but from my tastes, I just wasn’t impressed.

Let me tell you all that I have found my favorite stick finally. It’s not to expensive either and it taste great . Definitely my favorite right now it’s the darker Perdomo’s, the short ones. I have tried all sorts of cigars even the more expensive ones and in my opinion none of them top this cigar. I have tried the mild ones and they just were to light of a smoke for me.
I like a heaver cigar but not to heavy in taste. These are perfect and they usually are around $2.50 so they won’t break your wallet. If your looking for a cigar that buys cheep but taste expensive I definitely recommend these the Perdomo – Tierra del Sol…
You will definitely enjoy

This were my first cigar and still one of my top picks. They have a very nutty taste to them, and I remember drinking a cup of coffee with it and it was outstanding. I swear it made the coffee taste even better.
This is a cigar I would recommend to to anyone and have recommended on several occasions to the first time smoker. And the price ain’t bad either.
